EcoCalc
Hapag-Lloyd’s new emission calculator EcoCalc offers the possibility to estimate emissions from transport activities in order to manage and reduce them.
EcoCalc estimates emissions of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen Oxide (NOx), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), and Particulate Matter (PM10) for the door to door transport chain.

- Worldwide ongoing staff trainings on environmental and safety issues

- First Liner Shipping Company worldwide awarded with the “GL Excellence – 5 Stars” Certificate
- Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) for our vessel "Vienna Express" - the first ship in the world to receive it
- Environmental Passports for all new ships since 1997 for highest environmental standards
