Hapag-Lloyd announces a General Rate Increase effective April 1, 2010
The rate levels on the North Atlantic Trade need to be further improved and Hapag- Lloyd has therefore decided to implement a general rate increase with effect from April 1, 2010:
- Rates from North Europe and the Mediterranean to Canada, USA and Mexico will be increased for all container types by USD 320 per 20' and USD 400 per 40'
- The same increase levels of USD 320 per 20' and 400 per 40' will apply to all types of containers moving from Canada, USA and Mexico to North Europe and the Mediterranean
