General Rate Increase – Subcontinent to USA and Canada

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates effective March 15, 2013.
We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd has decided to implement the following General Rate Increase (GRI) for all dry, reefer, flat rack and open-top containers from Subcontinent to all USA and Canada destinations, to become effective as from March 15, 2013 (date of cargo receipt at origin), as set out below:
Scope: Subcontinent to all USA and Canada Destinations
USD 320 per 20' standard container
USD 400 per 40' standard container (40' x 8'6")
USD 450 per 40' high cube container (40' x 9'6")
USD 506 per 45' container
Subcontinent is defined as being the countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
