General Rate Increase – Dry Commodities - British Columbia, Canada to East Asia, Indian Subcontinent & Middle East

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates effective April 1, 2013.

We would like to inform you that with effect from April 1, 2013 Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for dry commodities originating from British Columbia, Canada with destinations in East Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East by:

  • USD 160 per 20’ Container
  • USD 200 per 40’ Container

Dry Containers; Commodities: All

East Asia comprises Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Macao, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, and the Russian Pacific Ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny.

Indian Subcontinent comprises India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Middle East comprises Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, and the Red Sea Ports of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
