General Rate Increase – Far East Eastbound From North Europe and Mediterranean

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates effective April 1, 2013.
We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all cargoes and all container types from North Europe and the Mediterranean to East Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East, effective April 1, 2013 by :
- USD 100 per TEU
North Europe comprises North West Continent, the U.K., Scandinavia, Baltic and European ports of Russia.
Mediterranean comprises the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa.
East Asia comprises Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Macao, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Brunei and Russian Pacific Ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny.
Indian Sub Continent comprises of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Middle East comprises of Persian Gulf and Red Sea destinations.
