Hapag-Lloyd announces surcharge implementation effective April 1, 2010
We would like to inform you that with effect from April 1, 2010 Hapag-Lloyd will implement an overweight surcharge of USD 200 per 20' dry container exceeding a maximum payload of 25,000 KGS .
The surcharge will be applied on all 20' dry containers shipped from Canadian Ports of Halifax, Montreal, and Vancouver. It will be payable together with the ocean freight and its assessorials.
