AEX adds Vietnam call at Cai Mep deepwater port

Hapag-Lloyd announces changes for the AEX service connecting US East Coast with Asia via the Suez Canal.
We are pleased to announce that Hapag-Lloyd will upgrade its Asia East Coast Express (AEX) service with the introduction of a 10th vessel and the addition of a direct, weekly, Vietnam call at Cai Mep deepwater port.
• The first Eastbound vessel to call Cai Mep will be OOCL America voyage 28E01, ETD January 9, 2010 from Cai Mep
• The first Westbound vessel to call Cai Mep will be OOCL Oakland voyage 16w50, ETD December 16, 2009 from Halifax
Port rotation will be as follows:
Cai Mep • Laem Chabang • Singapore • Colombo • Cagliari • Halifax • New York • Savannah • Norfolk • New York • Halifax • Cagliari • Jeddah • Colombo • Singapore • Cai Mep
