As we unfortunately receive a lot of MRN numbers in the last minute and some only after urgent reminders, we would like to draw attention to MRN deadlines as mentioned on your booking confirmations.
Hapag-Lloyd is not involved in export clearance, and thus implore you to ensure that deadlines are adhered to, in order to load your cargo as booked. Shipments which does not have proper customs clearance will not be allowed to load onto the feeder, as per Danish customs rules.
In an effort to streamline our processes to secure a faster and better service for all carrier related matters, we kindly ask you to ensure MRN’s are submitted timely and without the need of reminders.
As of November 1, 2020 we will stop sending reminders about missing MRN numbers. In order to help you through the transition phase up to this date, we will in the period up until November 1, 2020 continue sending reminders with all relevant details on how and when to forward your MRN numbers in the future.
