Price Announcement for Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from the USA into the Eastern Mediterranean

In a continued effort to provide you with a high level of service, uninterrupted liner services and equipment supply, Hapag-Lloyd will apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for all standard containers on the Atlantic trade from the USA to the Eastern Mediterranean. Effective for sailings as of June 18, 2018 and valid until further notice the PSS for the below mentioned countries will be as follows:

• USD 200 per TEU

Affected countries:

• Turkey
• Israel
• Lebanon
• Greece
• Egypt (only Alexandria and Damietta)
• Ukraine
• Russia (only Novorossiysk)
• Georgia
• Romania
• Bulgaria

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain unchanged respectively as announced and can be found here.

Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply in addition.
