China – Standardized Import & Export Detention Free time
Please be informed that all Import and Export shipments manifested under a Hapag-Lloyd Bill of Lading where Detention and/or Demurrage has been incurred in China, will be standardized and calculated as “Combined Detention” with effect from November 1, 2018 as follows:
The Calculation Rule is being applied as follows:
- Export is counted from Gate Out Empty to CY cut-off
- Import is counted from Discharge Full to Gate in empty
