United States and Canada to Oceania - Fuel Charges

We have conducted our quarterly review of fuel charges and would like to advise that effective January 1, 2019 the BAF and LSF charges from the United States and Canada to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands will remain at the current levels:

• Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF): USD 698 per TEU
• Low Sulphur Fuel Charge (LSF): USD 20 per TEU

As previously reported in the News section of our website, please be aware that as from February 1, 2019, all bunker related charges will be replaced by a new Marine Fuel Recovery (MFR) charge. The MFR will always be shown as a separate fee on your invoice.[1]

Please note that with the MFR implementation, your “all-in” rate will not change.

We shall continue to monitor developments on a quarterly cycle and all adjustments will be made following the review period with appropriate notice given to the trade.
