Tunisia - Rades Port - Restriction Import Reefer Containers

Dear Customer,

Following recent release of a new restriction from Rades Port authority, kindly note that as from December 1, 2019 all import reefer containers must be picked up directly and immediately by the receiving party upon discharge from vessel; otherwise such reefer container(s) will be shifted on board and, in case of receiver's absence till the end of cargo operation, same will be shipped back to the origin loading port .

Therefore , import reefer containers can neither be stocked nor plugged to power at Rades terminal but each import-customer is required to pick up his reefer goods on the truck as soon as the vessel has taken berth.

We repeat that this new restriction is applicable only for Rades port.

Before accepting any Reefer containers to Rades, please make sure to inform our local Agent in Tunisia.
