Egypt - Late Booking Cancelation Fee

Effective January 1, 2020, we will start introducing a “Late Booking Cancellation Fee” (XXB) affecting Egypt.
This fee will be applicable to all open bookings, with empty containers not yet assigned, which will be cancelled late.

The amounts and the structure of the Late Booking cancellation fee is as follows:

• For all cancellations done before 96 hrs (4 days) prior vessel arrival - free cancellation, no fee applied
• For all cancellations between 96 hrs and 48 hrs from vessel arrival - EGP 200/cntr
• For all cancellations after 48 hrs prior vessel arrival - EGP 500/cntr

For bookings shifted to the next available vessel due to late cargo readiness, no fee will be applied.
In case the same booking gets postponed for two or more consecutive vessels the  Late Booking cancellation fee will be applied in the amount of EGP 200/cntr.
