China & Hong Kong – Revision of Booking Cancellation Fee

Further to our previous CustomerNEWS, in the light of current development of the Coronavirus situation globally, we would like to inform you that we will cancel the implemention of the revised Booking Cancellation fee. This will be valid for every export booking from China and China/Hong Kong that is cancelled 7 calendar days or less before the ETD of the first intended vessel due to customer related issues, with immediate effect.

We will revert to the previous application basis where Booking Cancellation fee are applicable for every export booking from China and China/Hong Kong that is cancelled after Documentation cut off time.

Quantum remains unchanged as follows:

• Manual Processing Fee of Booking Cancellation (MPO): CNY300 per Bill applicable for China export shipments.
• Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF): HK300 per Bill applicable for China/Hong Kong export shipments.
  

Above mentioned charges are applicable for all General Purpose, Out-of-Gauge, Breakbulk and Dangerous Goods cargoes.

Additionally, we will also withdraw the implementation of the additional administration fee (LIF) for bookings that are not cancelled within the above mentioned period but eventually do not materialize (no-show) with immediate effect.
