It is Hapag-Lloyd’s stated policy to comply with all competition and anti-corruption requirements and the principles of our Code of Ethics.
Hapag-Lloyd employees are expected to support this approach by reporting any breaches of competition and anti-corruption laws or policies to their supervisors, their local Compliance Officer, the head of the Corporate Audit department or Human Resources department or the Chief Compliance Officer. We also ask our business partners to inform us if they are aware of any breaches.
Should a whistleblower wish to remain anonymous, he or she may instead call a specified local law firm, who will not reveal the caller’s identity. We have engaged law firms around the world as external, independent advisors as part of our global Whistleblower Hotline. Contact details are available in our regional overview sheets below.
