Here is an update on our Goa Counter Closure and Update to GST Registration

Regulations Middle East and Indian Subcontinent India

As part of our continued efforts to digitalize our services and optimize operations, please be informed that our counter in Goa will be permanently closed effective June 15, 2025.

Our digital counter at the Maharashtra office will remain fully operational to ensure seamless service delivery.

Following this change, Hapag-Lloyd AG will surrender its Goa GST registration (30AAACH0979G1ZW) effective August 1, 2025. As a result, no new invoices, credit notes, or debit notes will be issued from the Goa location. Going forward, all such documents will be issued under our Hapag-Lloyd AG Maharashtra GST registration (27AAACH0979G1ZJ).

To support a smooth transition, please review the following compliance-related actions:

  • Document review: Kindly review all invoices, debit notes, and credit notes issued under the Goa GSTIN (30AAACH0979G1ZW) from April 2024 onwards. If any amendments are required, such as updates to GSTIN, address, value, HSN code, etc., please raise a dispute through our website using the Invoice Dispute form and clearly describe the issue.
  • GSTR-2B reconciliation: If any invoice, debit note, or credit note issued under the Goa GSTIN is missing from your Form GSTR-2B or if there is a mismatch in the details auto-populated, please email us at [email protected] with a clear explanation of the discrepancy.

We kindly request that you submit any such inputs by July 15, 2025, to allow sufficient time for us to process your requests before the Goa GSTIN is officially surrendered. Please note that after this date, we will be unable to process additional requests and will not be liable for any resulting losses or compliance issues.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local Hapag-Lloyd office.
