- South Africa – Curfew lifted. Long delays expected at the terminal in Durban
- Kenya - Authorities have imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew in parts of Lamu County, including Mukunumbi, Witu, Mpeketoni, and Hindi areas, through February 5, 2022. Associated localized transport and commercial disruptions are likely
- Uganda – Nationwide curfew 19:00 hrs - 05:30 hrs in effect. Counters close at 16:00 hrs.
- Namibia - The nationwide 22:00 hrs - 04:00 hrs curfew remains in place, until further notice
- Botswana - The nationwide curfew runs 22:00 hrs - 04:00 hrs. Inter-zonal movement is permitted for essential travel only
- Nigeria - Curfew imposed from 00:00 hrs – 04:00 hrs, until further notice. Counter operational
- Senegal - Minimal restrictions in place. Land borders with neighboring countries are open
- Ghana - Restrictions unchanged nationwide. Land and sea borders remain closed
- Angola - No curfew imposed. Most businesses allowed operating with health protocols in place and restrictions on capacity and opening times
- Cameroon - Minimal restrictions in place. Land and sea borders are open
- Congo – Night time curfew in effect nationwide between 23:00 hrs - 04:00 hrs
- Republic Democratic of Congo (DRC) - Nighttime curfew in effect in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire between 23:00 hrs - 05:00 hrs. The state of health emergency extended until further notice.
- Cote d'Ivoire - The state of health emergency remains in effect. Land and sea borders closed to regular commercial passenger travel, but cargo and freight transport are still operating
- Gabon - A nationwide 21:00 hrs - 05:00 hrs curfew remains in place. Authorities continue to restrict entry and exit to Greater Libreville; Land and sea borders are closed. Cargo transportation and essential services permitted entry with prior authorization
- Ethiopia – Unrest continues in Ethiopia’s northern region of Tigray but the overall situation reported to have improved. We are monitoring the situation and will update as information becomes available
- Sudan - Port operations to continue until further notice. Berthing delays of approx. 3 days expected
- Mali - All commercial and financial transactions between ECOWAS Member States and Mali, with the exception of food products, pharmaceutical products, medical supplies and equipment, petroleum products and electricity suspended, until further notice. Land and air borders closed
Terminal Operations
Please find below status of ports in Africa:
- Dar es Salaam - Berthing delays of 15-17 days at TICTS and 3-4 days at TPA expected
- Port Sudan - Berthing delays of approx. 3 days expected
- Durban - Berthing delays of 4-5 days at MPT, 1-3 days at Pier 1 and 5-6 days at Pier 2 expected
- Cape town - Berthing delays of 2 days at MPT and 6-8 days at CT expected
- Abidjan - Berthing delays of approx. 2-5 days expected due to congestion at the port
- Nouakchott - Berthing delays of up to 3 days expected
- Lagos - Tin can (TICT) berthing delays of 2-4 days (P&C) delays of up to 2 days expected
- Apapa / Dakar / Tema / Cotonou - No berthing delays days expected
- Coega / Pointe Noire / Kribi - Berthing delays of 2-3 days expected

- Uganda - Counter closes at 16: 00 hrs
- Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal - Counter operational
