Price Announcement – Latin America to Africa - Emergency Bunker Surcharge
We would like to inform you that effective as of March 9, 2018 (sailing date) and valid until further notice we will introduce an Emergency Bunker Surcharge (EBS) on trades from Latin America to Africa:
This surcharge applies to all new contracts coming into effect as of March 9, 2018.
The change of the update cycle has become necessary due to the strong bunker price development and we reserve the right to change this update cycle anytime in the future.
The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Security-related surcharges, Peak Season surcharges (if applicable) and Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain unchanged respectively as announced and can be found here.
Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply in addition.
