Price Announcement for Terminal Handling Charges in Piraeus, Greece

We wish to inform you that the Terminal Handling Charges (THC) for Piraeus will change. Effective as of March 15, 2018 and valid until further notice, the THCs at the port of Piraeus will be as follows:

  • Standard Container Hazardous (for IMO class 1,2.1,3, 4.1,5.2, 6.1,6.2, 7, 8 )
    EUR 211/ 211 per 20’/ 40’
  • Standard Container Hazardous ( for IMO class other than listed above )
    EUR 158 / 158 per 20’ / 40’
  • Out of Gauge
    EUR 138 / 138 per 20’ / 40’

Terminal Handling Charges Destination

  • Standard Container
    EUR 137 / 137 per 20’ / 40’
  • Reefer Container
    EUR 137 / 137 per 20’ / 40’
  • Standard Container Hazardous (for IMO class 1,2.1,3, 4.1,5.2, 6.1,6.2, 7, 8 )

The THCs will apply for all trades, including trades to and from Europe.

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Peak Season surcharges (if applicable) and other THCs remain unchanged respectively as announced and can be found here.

The Terminal Security Charge at Piraeus will change as announced per separate customer letter which can be found here.

Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply in addition.
