Area Germany – Street Turns

We would like to inform you that as from May 2018, street turn requests for Merchant’s Haulage bookings within Area Germany will be handled via the platform avantida (www.avantida.com). This approach will supersede all current administrative processes regarding street turn arrangements.

Street turns will be allowed for exports and imports within the wet triangle (“Nasses Dreieck”, i.e. between Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Bremen) for standard equipment.

A charge of 46 Euro will apply per street turn container, which will be invoiced through the avantida credit system.

The final confirmation of the street turn lies with Hapag-Lloyd Area Germany Operations.
