Israel – Terminal Congestion Surcharge

We would like to inform you that the operations in Ashdod (Israel) are being affected beyond normal conditions and that the service pro forma is suffering under these circumstances.

As the situation has worsened further Hapag-Lloyd will charge a Terminal Congestion Surcharge on all import shipments to Ashdod as follows:

• USD 50 per TEU on all trades (or EURO 41 per TEU)

The above-mentioned surcharge is effective from March 19, 2018.
