Italy – Implementation of Fuel Surcharge on Inland transports

During the last few months inland transport related costs in Italy have increased substantially due to the growth of labor, fuel and toll portions.

We would like to inform you that in order to recover such costs and offer a better and more reliable service, Hapag-Lloyd will implement as from May 15, 2018 the following Fuel Surcharge on Export (FSO) and Import (FSD) inland moves, as noted below:

• FSO/FSD 4% on Combined Rail transports
• FSO/FSD 8% on Truck transports (including One Way moves)
