Due to Hurricane Florence, the port of Wilmington will be closed through, Friday September 21, 2018.
In view of the port closure, expected berth congestion and in an effort to make your import cargo available as soon as possible, we are forced by this force majeure event to divert the Wilmington destined cargoes onboard MV Helsinki Bridge (Voyage 032E) to discharge at the port of Charleston with an ETA of Wednesday September 19, 05:30 pm.
We herewith kindly ask you to take delivery of your cargoes in Charleston on your own risk and expense.
Thank you for your understanding and our apologies for any inconvenience.
This notice is written without prejudice to the terms and conditions contained in the relevant underlying contracts of carriage as evidenced by Hapag-Lloyd AG’s standard Bill of Lading and/or Sea Waybill and the Hapag-Lloyd Tariff applicable thereto and/or any other applicable agreement governing the carriage of the subject cargo, as the case may be, all of which said terms and conditions continue to remain in full force and effect without any modification or waiver.
