India – Application of ASR charges for Flexitanks

As you might be aware, all Flexitank containers require special stowage which attracts terminals to bill related operational costs by means of “Additional Special Request” (ASR) charges which are passed on to the trade.

Thus this advisory serves to re-iterate, that Hapag-Lloyd will continue collecting the ASR from the local trade as per the respective terminals applicable tariffs.

The ASR charges are subject to India Goods and Services Tax (GST) at prevailing levels.
