Egypt - Currency Change on Local Charges Tariff

The terminal of Port Said West has recently changed its port tariff currency from Egyptian Pounds (EGP) to US Dollars (USD).

As a result of this change, Hapag-Lloyd will also adapt to the currency of its local charges tariffs related to the port operations, from Egyptian Pounds (EGP) to US Dollars (USD) as from August 1, 2019.

Please note specific local charges related to administration fees and local taxes will continue to be maintained in EGP.

For ease of reference, we provide below an overview of the new local charges in USD currency applicable for Port Said West.
