Costa Rica – Nicaragua Inland Service

Due to border restrictions between Costa Rica and Nicaragua derived from COVID-19, we are temporarily suspending the inland service between Puerto Limon - Nicaragua cities and vice versa.

Import cargoes with delivery service to Nicaragua (door) that are in transit or arrived in Costa Rica will have the option to be moved or discharged in Puerto Cortes, Honduras. From there they can be moved via truck to Nicaragua (additional costs may arise). The cargo will be responsible for the differential between the new and the original inland rate.

The alternative option is to request end service at the port of Costa Rica in which case the customer will be reimbursed of the Nicaragua inland portion.

For door exports from Nicaragua we can offer our services via Puerto Cortes, Honduras.
