We were informed of an incident that took place on September 28 involving the partner’s vessel M/V YM MANDATE at the Port of New York. The vessel’s schedule is delayed due to a small oil leak and the vessel remains berthed at Global Container Terminal in Bayonne, New Jersey. In compliance with governing regulations and federal and state authorities, response measures have been implemented accordingly to address the spill by the vessel operator.
As a result, we are advising you of the potential schedule adjustments that may affect estimated time of delivery of your cargo.
All cargo operations were completed at the New York Terminal before the incident happened. We are advised that there is no incident of cargo damage or loss.
Currently, we are working closely with the vessel operator on a plan to deliver cargo destined for Savannah, Norfolk, and Jacksonville. We will keep all customers with cargo affected updated as we get more information.
Developments of the situation on MV YM Mandate are being closely monitored and we will continue to update you as this situation progresses. Meanwhile, we understand that the vessel operator continues to work with authorities to move forward with our vessel schedule.
