With reference to our previous customer letter on Booking Window Implementation for Greater China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), we would like to provide another update. Please be informed that with effect from 22 February 2021 (Week 8), the booking window will be adjusted back to normal.
You could refer the tables below (table 1&2) for detailed information on service sling, port name basis with the days booking window open. Please refer with the updated information to avoid bookings being cancelled due to exceeded booking window.
Hapag-Lloyd fully understands that this is an important change and will better facilitate your supply chain planning.
Please find the detailed booking windows below, counted in calendar day along with the general terms as stated below:
1. Booking window is based on the timeline stated in the following tables for main service (Table 1) and feeder services (Table 2).
2. Calculation for booking window is according to the date of booking received till vessel ETD of the Port.
3. Bookings received from effective date onwards should follow the booking window logic.
4. Bookings received from effective date and falls outside of the booking window scope will be cancelled.
