Hong Kong - Digitalization - Paperless Release of Import Containers

Please be informed that Hong Kong Container Terminal Operators Association (HKCTOA) has announced the full implementation of Electronic Release Order (eRO) starting from 1 July, 2021.

In response to the full implementation, Hapag-Lloyd will stop issuance of traditional paper Import Release Order for Hong Kong import shipment arriving on or after 1 June, 2021.

In order to ensure a smooth transition, please get your Electronic Release Order (eRO) account ready in advance.
