We are pleased to inform you about Hapag-Lloyd´s latest addition to our Africa product portfolio. As of late April 2021, we will introduce the new East Africa Service 3 (EA3), which will offer direct weekly sailings between China, Southeast Asia, Kenya and Tanzania with very competitive transit times.
In addition, the EA3 will offer excellent connectivity to Hapag-Lloyd’s Global Mainliner network via ports of Singapore and Shanghai, providing vast connections between East Africa and the world.
The EA3 will consists of 7 x 2800 TEU vessels, with two of them operated by Hapag-Lloyd.
The port rotation will be as follows:
Shanghai – Ningbo - Nansha – Singapore – Port Kelang – Mombasa – Dar Es Salaam – Port Kelang – Singapore – Shanghai
The first westbound voyage will start in Shanghai on April 29, 2021 with an estimated arrival in Mombasa on May 23, 2021. Further vessel and schedule details will be announced as soon as possible.
