Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) - Area Med Agents to South America West Coast

We wish to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will implement a PSS (Peak Season surcharge) from Albania, Algeria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Croatia, Israel, Lebanon, Lybia, Morocco, Montenegro, Malta, Romania, Slovenia, Tunisia, Ukraine, Novorossiysk, Russia to South America West Coast.

Effective as of May 1, 2021 and valid until further notice the PSS will be as follows:

Peak Season Surcharge for all Dry cargoes (all types of Standard and Special container)

• USD 150 per TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit)

You will notice that this increased surcharge gives us the chance to continuously offer you the service quality you are used to when booking with us.

The implementation of the PSS for Dry and Special Container (except Reefer Container) is based on the current logistical and operational challenges we do face in both Regions and valid until further notice.
