South Africa – Invoice Currency

Please be informed that with effect June 7, 2021, Hapag-Lloyd South Africa default invoice currency will be in South African Rands (ZAR).

Below are the details which will be effective on June 7, 2021:

• For USD charges, invoice currency will be issued in ZAR, unless customer profile is updated to reflect otherwise

If specific invoice currency is required (e.g. USD invoice is required for USD charges), it will be subject to an Invoice Amendment Fee (IAO) at ZAR 350 per invoice unless customer profile is updated with preferred invoice currency for all export business.
