We would like to remind you that on April 12, 2021 the Australian Department of Agriculture introduced a mandatory offshore treatment requirements for target risk sea containers to protect against the khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium). This is a destructive pest that can reproduce rapidly in stored products under hot conditions and is considered a significant biosecurity risk to Australia. Kindly refer to the tables at the end of this notification for the list of High-Risk Plant Products and High-Risk Countries.

Failure to comply with these requirements will result in export of the container upon arrival in Australia. All related costs will be on customer’s account. You can mitigate financial exposure due to detention by purchasing additional free time online before the container’s arrival in Australia.
