Shipping from Mexico to the Caribbean and Central America? A GRI is coming up

A General Rate Increase (GRI) from Mexico to the Caribbean and Central America (with the exception of Puerto Rico) for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry (and Reefer) containers is coming up. This GRI is applicable to all containers from October 1, 2021

The details for this increase are listed below:

• 20' Dry Container: USD 300
• 40' Dry Container: USD 500
• 20’ Reefer Container: USD 300
• 40’ Reefer Container: USD 500

For your reference, the geographical scope of this GRI is listed as follows:

From: Mexico East Coast
To: Caribbean and Central America East Coast (except Puerto Rico)

From: Mexico West Coast
To: Central America West Coast.
