Here's an update for MV Madrid Bridge V. 016E/W

If you're shipping with our East Coast Loop 4 Service (EC4), here's an update for MV Madrid Bridge V. 016E/W. On January 7, 2022, she suffered a collapse of containers in the North Atlantic Ocean while she was headed towards her next port of call: New York, USA.

Following up on our news from January 14, 2022, she is expected to arrive in Charleston on or around January 20, 2022. She is planned to berth in Hugh K. Leatherman terminal upon completing the necessary inspection and condition assessment. The plan, which is still subject to the vessel’s and port conditions, is to discharge all damaged units and all import cargo bound to Charleston during the call.

We will keep you updated on the progress and vessel’s schedule when more information is available. We regret the inconveniences that this incident might have caused, and thank you for your understanding. If you should require additional information, please contact our customer service team at your location, who will guide you based on your individual situation.
