Here's your operational overview for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa - week 7

February is upon us - here are the latest operational developments for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa.

South East India - Europe Express (IEX)

  • MV Amoliani V2152E/W will omit Cochin, India. Imports will discharge in Colombo, Sri Lanka for further connection to their final port of delivery
  • MV Al Manamah V2151E/W omitted Colombo, Sri Lanka (eastbound). Imports will discharge in Colombo, Sri Lanka (westbound) for further connection to their final ports of delivery

Indian Subcontinent – Mediterranean Express (IMX)

  • Phase in vessel MV CMA CGM Jacques Joseph V0MXBBW1MA will omit Karachi, Pakistan
  • MV Yantian Express V2151E / V2207W will omit Hamad, Qatar. Imports will discharge in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection to their final port of delivery

Indian Ocean Service 3 (IO3)

  • MV APL New York V0PE2SE1MA / 0PE37W1MA will omit Abu Dhabi, UAE. Imports will discharge in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection to their final port of delivery

Kuwait Feeder (KWF)

  • MV Songa Leopard V356W/E will omit Shuwaikh, Kuwait and call Karachi, Pakistan and Mundra, India

Asia – West Africa Service (AWA)

  • MV Cosco Korea V2201E will change its rotation and call Luanda, Angola terminals before Pointe Noire, Congo. The vessel will also omit Cape Town, South Africa (eastbound)

China – Kenya Express (CKX)

  • There will be no sailing from Shanghai, China (westbound) on February 16 and from Mombasa, Kenya (eastbound) on March 6 and March 13

Dakar Express (DEX)

  • MV Michel A will arrive in Tangier, Morocco on February 14

Middle East - India - Africa Express (MIAX)

  • MV NYK Paula V2207W will arrive in Jebel Ali, UAE on February 19, approx. two weeks earlier than planned.
  • MV Chesapeake Bay V2209W voyage commencement will be adjusted to March 5

Mediterranean – West Africa Express (MWX)

  • MV Merkur Ocean V220S/N will change its port rotation in West Africa and call Tema, Ghana – Apapa and Tin Can in Nigeria – and Cotonou, Benin

South Africa Express (SAF also known as SAX)

  • MV MSC Carmen VNZ202A / VNZ208R will omit Cape Town, South Africa (southbound) and Coega, South Africa (southbound and northbound).  Cape Town southbound imports will discharge in the northbound call, while the Coega imports will discharge in Durban, South Africa to connect with MV MSC Regina
  • MV MSC Romane VNZ205A will omit Cape Town, South Africa (southbound). Imports will discharge in the northbound call
