Here's your operational overview for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa - week 6

February is upon us - here are the latest operational developments for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa.

Gulf – East Mediterranean Service (GEM)

  • MV Tyndall V2150E / V2205W will omit Hamad, Qatar for schedule recovery. Imports will be discharged in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection to their final ports of destination

Indian Subcontinent – Mediterranean Express (IMX)

  • MV Baltic Bridge V0MXAUE1MA / V0MXB9W1MA will omit Karachi, Pakistan. Imports will discharge in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection to their final ports of destination

  • MV APL Antwerp 0MXAWE1MA will leave the service in Jebel Ali, UAE, and will omit Hamad, Qatar from the rotation. Qatar imports will discharge in Jebel Ali, UAE to connect to MV CMA CGM Apollon (voyage details to be advised in due course)
     
  • MV CMA CGM Jacques Joseph V0MXBBW1MA will replace MV APL Antwerp in Jebel Ali, UAE. The vessel will not call Hamad, Qatar. Qatar exports will be loaded on the MV CMA CGM Congo V08MB1W1MA (GEM service) and connect to the MV CMA CGM Jacques Joseph in Jebel Ali, UAE

Indian Ocean Service 3 (IO3)

  • MV OOCL ASIA V169E / V170W will omit Abu Dhabi, UAE and Port Qasim, Pakistan. Imports will discharge in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection to their final ports of destination

India – America Express (TPI)

  • There will be a structural omission of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Port Qasim, Pakistan as follows:

Asia – West Africa Service (AWA)

  • There will be no sailing from Qingdao, China (westbound) on February 19, 2022 and from Pointe Noire, Democratic Republic of Congo (eastbound) on April 7, 2022

Dakar Express (DEX)

  • MV Michel A V2205S/N will omit Nouakchott, Mauritania

Mediterranean – West Africa Express (MWX)

  • MV Navios Dorado 2204S/N will call Tema, Ghana - Apapa, Nigeria - Tin Can, Nigeria - Cotonou, Benin

South Africa Express (SAF)

  • MV MSC Coruna will omit South African ports as follows: VNZ201A will omit Cape Town and Coega (southbound) and VNZ207R will omit Cape Town (northbound). Cape Town imports will discharge in Durban to connect to MV MSC Stella VNZ206R

  • There will be no sailing from London Gateway, United Kingdom (southbound) on April 2, 2022 and from Durban, South Africa (northbound) on May 5, 2022

  • MV MSC Stella VNZ206R will omit Coega, South Africa for schedule recovery

West Europe – West Africa Service (WWA)

  • MV Niledutch Antwerpen V2202S/N will omit Sogester terminal in Angola, Luanda due to port congestion

East Africa Service 2 (EA2)

  • There will be no calls to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on the following vessels & voyages
