Shipping from Australia and New Zealand? Here's an update for DG bookings

If you're shipping dangerous goods (DG) from Australia and New Zealand, this article will guide you through the channels available to you for placing DG bookings. From June 20, 2022, DG bookings, amendment requests, or both, will need to be routed exclusively via our electronic channels, described below:

  • Hapag-Lloyd website – for less than 4 Dangerous Goods' lines. You can access the Dangerous Goods user guide here.
  • INTTRA – for more than 4 Dangerous Goods' lines. You can access INTTRA here.

When placing the online bookings, please make sure to update all mandatory details. The MO41 certificate can be sent separately to [email protected] or [email protected]. In case you would like to review the DG bookings' requirements, please refer to our CustomerNEWS from November 2021

Please note that we will continue to accept manual DG bookings until June 20, 2022. A manual bookings fees of AUD 150 per booking for Australia and USD 150 per booking for New Zealand will be applicable from this date onwards. You can find all local charges for both countries here.

This change is aimed at ensuring your cargo's and our vessels' safety. If you should require support to assist your booking teams in connection with the e-channel booking submission, please reach out to our customer service team, who will be glad to guide you with your individual situation.
