Shipping from India and Pakistan to United States East Coast? A GRI is coming up

A General Rate Increase (GRI) / General Rate Adjustment (GRA) from India and Pakistan to the East Coast of the United States is coming up. This GRI/GRA will apply to cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry, Reefer and Special containers, including High Cube equipment. This GRI/ GRA is applicable to all containers gated in full from January 10, 2024, and is valid until further notice.

The details for this increase are listed below:

• India to USA East Coast: USD 500 per container
• Pakistan to USA East Coast: USD 200 per container
