Shipping from Arabian Gulf and ISC to Europe? Here's an Emergency Space Contingency Surcharge

An Emergency Space Contingency Surcharge (ESC) is coming into effect for cargo loading from Arabian Gulf* and Indian Subcontinent* to North Europe* and South Europe*. This ESC is applicable for all sailings commencing on August 1, 2024, until further notice.

The details for this ESC are listed below:

  • 20' Container USD 500
  • 40' Container USD 500

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain as announced and can be found here. Please note that other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.

From: *Arabian Gulf:
UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Dammam and Jubail
Indian Subcontinent: India , Pakistan , Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Maldives

To: *North Europe: Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Estonia, Iceland, Luxembourg
*South Europe: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Algeria, Morocco, Malta, Tunisia, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Montenegro, Libya, Romania, Cyprus, Slovenia, Lebanon, Turkey, Ukraine, Egypt
