Welcome to our new office in Uganda

It’s December 2, 2024, and we’re excited to share great news: Our new office in the city of Kampala, the capital of Uganda is opening. Strategically located, Kampala provides excellent connections to five neighboring countries in East and Central Africa, making it a key hub in the region.

Here’s some key information about our new location: While Uganda is a landlocked country, it relies on neighboring ports such as Mombasa in Kenya and Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania for international trade. Most of the transported cargo between Uganda and the ports is moved by trucks, enabling seamless cross-border connections.

Our Senior Managing Director in Region Middle East, Lars Sorensen, commented “Uganda plays a vital role in the export landscape of Africa and continues to see economic growth. Opening our office in Kampala is part of our long-term strategy to establish an early presence in emerging markets. With Kampala as our new hub, we can enhance service delivery and better meet the needs of customers both in Uganda and in neighboring regions.”

In the coming weeks, we'll be sharing with you vessel cut-over and additional information for your cargo planning. We look forward to working with you from this dynamic and strategically significant location.
