Shipping from China within Asia Short Sea? Here’s a price announcement for a HLC

A Heavy Lift Surcharge (HLC) is coming into effect from China to the Asia Short Sea*. This HLC is applicable for all sailings commencing on April 7th, 2025 until further notice.

The details for this HLC are listed below:

• 20' Dry Container: USD 50 (20 tons or above – including tare)
• 20' Reefer Container: USD 50 (20 tons or above – including tare)

For your reference, the geographical scope of this HLC is explained below:

• From China
• To Asia Short Sea*: Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand & Vietnam

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain as announced and can be found here. Please note that other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
