Atlantic Loop 4 - Hapag-Lloyd providing vessels for AL4 Service
We would like to inform you that as from April 2018, Hapag-Lloyd will be operating most of the AL4 vessels. Whilst we are still working on the concrete phase-in plan, we are pleased to inform you about following improvements this change will bring for you:
- Easier and more flexible acceptance for Out of Gauge & break bulk cargo
- Easier and more flexible acceptance of dangerous cargo, including special IMO classes
The AL4 Service will continue to offer all its existing benefits:
- Direct sailings from Europe to Mexico, without calling at any US port beforehand. This avoids the need for arranging AMS filing.
- Competitive transit times (e.g. Bremerhaven – Veracruz in just 14 days)
- Fastest transit in the market between France and Mexico
- UK direct port of call (London Gateway)
- Scandinavia and Baltic connected by feeder
- Solid proven schedule reliability
