General Rate Increase - USA and Canada to Australia and New Zealand

We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd in response to the market feedback obtained, will postpone the December 15, 2020 General Rate Increase (GRI), to be implemented on January 1, 2021 (date of cargo receipt at origin). This GRI will apply for cargo from the United States and Canada ports to Australia and New Zealand.

This General Rate Increase will apply for all dry, reefer, non-operating reefer, tank, flat rack and open-top containers as follows:

• USD 200 per all 20' container types
• USD 400 per all 40' container types
