Vessel updates and port changes per service

Middle East - India - Africa - Express (MIAX)

  • MV RIO GRANDE EXPRESS will omit Hazira, IN (June 5) , She will leave the service from Colombo, LK on June 10, 2024, the phase out rotation for Discharge will be Jebel Ali, AE > Mundra, IN> Nhava Sheva, IN > Colombo, LK.  No replacement vessel, and No Sailing for MIAX loading from Jebel Ali on May 31,  2024.
Asia – West Africa Service (AWA)
  • No updates for this week

East Africa Service 2 (EA2)

  • No updates for this week

Mediterranean – West Africa Express (MWX)

  • MWX Service will be discontinued from week 16. The below vessels will join the updated WAX service.

South Africa Express (SAF also known as SAX)

  • No updates in the current week.

West Europe – West Africa Service (WWA)

  • Service new rotation: Antwerp, BE-> Le Havre, FR -> Lisbon, PT  -> Tanger Med, MA  -> Tema, GH -> Pointe Noire, CG  -> Luanda, AO -> Libreville, GB -> Antwerp, BE
  • MV Dachan Bay Exoress v.2417S will be the first vessel to start the new rotation
  • MV Spartel Trader v2414N left the service at Le Havre, FR on May 27, 2024
  • MV Eleni T v2415N will leave the service at Le Havre, FR on June 6, 2024
  • MV Northern Power V2416N will leave the service at Le Havre, FR on June 10, 2024

West Africa Express (WAX)

  • Service new rotation: Tanger Med, MA -> Dakar, SN -> Apapa, NG -> Tincan, NG -> Cotonou, BJ -> Abidjan, CI -> Tema, GH -> Tanger Med, MA.
  • MV Navios Dorado v2420N and will leave the service from Tema, GH on June 13, 2024

South Africa – Asia Express 1 (SA1)

  • No updates in the current week

South Africa – Asia Express 2 (SA2)

  • No updates in the current week

South America - Africa - Triangle Service (SAT)     

  • MV GSL MELINA v.2408w will leave the service at Luanda, AO and will be replaced by MV IRENES RULE v.2408W
  • The WWA SB and WWA NB have been integrated into SAT service.
  • The SAT will run a weekly service following the rotation:
  • West bound - Paranaguá, BR –Santos, BR –Navegantes,BR –Durban,ZA –Port Elizabeth, ZA -Luanda, AO - Tanger, MÁ
  • Eastbound – Rotterdam, NL –Antwerp, BE-Le Havre, FR –Lisbon, PT –Tanger, MA-Tema, GH-Pointe Noir,CG-Luanda,AO-Parangua,BR.
  • Dachan Bay Express will Join the Service from Durban, ZA June 5,  2024
  • Irenes Resolve is the first vessel starting the new rotation, as she will sail to Europe after her Durban call on June 12.
  • Throughout June, the frequency of departures from Brazil will increase from fortnight to Weekly,

  • Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa - If you are placing bookings from countries located in the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa, online booking amendments will be implemented from August 15, 2022. We have transitioned to an all-digital booking amendment process, and with this step, all email and phone requests have been discontinued. This means that your booking amendments will be processed faster, and you will be able to manage them through our online tool available here. Thinking about your cargo planning, please know that once the amendment has been requested online, the processing time will be four (4) working hours. Please keep in mind that once you place your request, you will not have to send emails or make follow-up calls. 
  • Tanzania: from September 1, 2023, our booking cancellation timeline will be changing to 17 days
  • South Africa: from March 15, 2024, all  freight, local charges' invoices and pickup instructions will be managed via ODeX. From March 18, 2024 the last date for submission of pickup instructions will be 2 working days before vessel arrival - the pickup instructions' request must be submitted via ODeX.

  • For vessel/container/booking status and sailing schedules information, please visit our Online Business Suite
  • For Dangerous Goods Cargo terminal gate acceptance, please submit electronic copies of the Export Hazardous Declarations to upload in the DG bookings
  • For faster BL release at destination, please switch from OBL to SWB if possible. If you should require any assistance, please reach out to your customer service documentation team
  • We invite our customers to use our e-tools (Web-Booking and EASI) for submitting bookings and Shipping Instructions as well as our Hapag-Lloyd Navigator Dashboard to view all of your shipment information on one single screen
