Vessel updates and port changes per service

Middle East - India - Africa Express (MIAX)

 

  • New MIA WB window at Pier 2 from FRI 2200 -SUN 1300. While EB window at Pier 1 from WED 0600 - FRI 0600.
  • Week 28, Jebel Ali, AE 11th July will be a No Sail Week.

East Africa Service 2 (EAS2)

·         Ren Jian 8 will phase out at either AEJEA on June 24 or AEKHL on June 25 (Cycle 62, Week 25). Boxes discharged by Ren Jian 8 will be loaded by replacement vessel Stephanie C who will phase in at AEJEA June 24th and connect EAF cargo to their POD. AEJEA cargo discharged at AEAUH by Ren Jian 8 will be connected to AEJEA by CMA CGM Nacala. Her ETB AEKHL will be on 05/07  and ETB AEJEA T4 will be on 07/07.

·         ESL Asante will Phase out in the upcoming TZDAR call at Adani Terminal on 09/07. Replacement vessel will be ESL Dubai which will Phase In at Same terminal on 11/07.

East Africa Service 3 (EAS3)

·         Kota Sempana in her voyage number 519W is going to omit Port Kelang EB for schedule recovery. Additionally, on her 519E voyage, vessel will phase out of EAS service in CNNSA on 02 July. The replacement vessel is Kota Singa 526W taking 29 June position in CNTAO.

·         Kota Sahabat in her voyage number 524W is going to omit Port Kelang EB for schedule recovery. Additionally, in her 524E voyage, vessel will phase out of EAS service on 10th August. K The replacement vessel is Kota Machan 531W taking 3rd Aug position in CNTAO.

·         Kota Ganding in her voyage number 535W is going to omit Port Kelang EB for schedule recovery.

·         Kota Singa (PIL) will phase in into the initially no sail week under Voyage No. 526W. Phase in will happen at CNTAO on 29/06.

·         Kota Machan will phase in at CNTAO on 3rd July 1200hrs (Week 31).

East Africa Service 4 (EAS4)

  • Berth window at TZDAR changed to Monday-Thursday, first vessel to apply new window is Kota Machan on 19th May 2025.
  • Kota Machan in her voyage number 517W going to omit Port Kelang, MY west call.
  • Navios Summer in her voyage 520W going to omit Port Kelang, MY West Call
  • In WK 25 at Shanghai, CN MV.GSL Valerie will get into the service to replace MV. ALS Venus.
  • Kota Machan 524E will phase out of EA4 at TZDAR ETD 10th July 1800hrs(Week 28). Later Phase in to EA3 on 3rd August 1200hrs(Week 31). The replacement vessel Kota Kamil will phase in at CNSHA on 31ST July (531W voyage)

West Africa Service 1 (WA1)

  • No update in the service in the current week.

West Africa Service 2 (WA2)

  • MV. SLS AZURE WILL OMIT V# 2524N MRNKC ON 28.06.2025 & LRMLW ON 08.07.2025
  • MV. SLS AZURE WILL DO ADHOC CALL FOR GHTEM ON 11.07.2025. VESSEL WILL PHASE OUT AT SGSIN.
  • MV. OKEE ALICIA WILL OMIT GNCKY ON 20.06.2025/SLFNA ON 21.06.2025 & ESHUV ON 28.06.2025
  • MV. OKEE ALICIA WILL PHASE OUT AT MAPTM ON 05.07.2025
  • MV. CAPE BYRON WILL PHASE IN AT MAPTM ON 30.06.2025
  • MV. STADT DRESDEN WILL PHASE IN AT ESHUV ON 11.07.2025

West Africa Service 3 (WA3)

  • MATADI EXPRESS will be calling MRNKC in voyage no 2526N on 12.07.2025
  • MATADI EXPRESS will be calling SNDKR in voyage no 2526N on 01.07.2025

South Africa – Asia Express 1 (SA1)

  • No update in the service in the current week

South Africa – Asia Express 2 (SA2)

  • No update in the service in the current week

West Africa Express (WAX)

  • MV STANLEY she will Phase out at Turkey port on 14.07.2025.
  • MV Merkur Ocean will Phase in at ESBCN on 19.08.2025 replacing vessel for STANLEY A
  • MV Ionikos will omit NGAPP on 01.07.2025
  • MV Algeciras Express will omit NGAPP on 09.07.2025 & NGONN ON 10.07.2025
  • MV GREEN BAY will do Adhoc call for ESHUV on 09.07.2025
  • MV ACASTOS will omit NGONN on 02.08.2025

Asia – West Africa Service (AWA)

  • No update for the current week.

South Africa Express (SAX)

  • No update for the current week.

West Europe – West Africa Service (WWA)

  • Congestion in Antwerp and Tanger.

South America - Africa - Triangle Service - (SAT)

  • No update for the current week.

West Africa

  • Banjul, The Gambia, long term congestion, up to 7 days berth delay
  • Conakry, Guinea, high yard density resulting in slow ops. Back log on the berth line up. 1-2 days delay
  • Monrovia, Liberia, slow operations leading to accumulated berth delays. Up to 7 days delay
  • Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Severe Yard congestion causing slow operations and subsequently berth delays. Up to 1 day delay
  • Tema, Ghana, bunching of off-window vessels. Up to 1 day delay

Central Africa

  • Douala, Cameroon, Maintenance works at Berth 15. Up to 2 days waiting time. Backlog after 1 vessel was grounded in the channel. up to 1 day delay.
  • Kribi, Cameroon, is undergoing a Terminal Expansion project. Up to 2 days waiting time expected
  • Matadi, Congo DRC. Congo river max draft advised at 7.5 meters, strong currents on the river. Matadi Gateway Terminal is working max 1 vessel per day.

South Africa

  • Durban, South Africa, both Pier 1 and Pier 2, long term delays. Between 1-2 days waiting time

East Africa

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

  • DPW: 1-2 days waiting time due to berth sequence. Terminal gate and road congested causing delays
  • Adani: Is undergoing maintenance works at the quay for the next 2 years. On average 2-3 days waiting time due to slow operations.
  • Mombasa, Kenya, Backlog after 1st of May closure and stoppages due to bad weather. 5-6 days waiting time expected to last for the next few weeks.
  • South Africa: from March 15, 2024, all  freight, local charges' invoices and pickup instructions will be managed via ODeX. From March 18, 2024 the last date for submission of pickup instructions will be 2 working days before vessel arrival - the pickup instructions' request must be submitted via ODeX.
  • Kenya: starting with vessels sailing on or after July 1, 2024, all exporters must provide the "Export Entry Number" for every container loaded at Mombasa during the Shipping Instructions' submission. This applies to export and transshipment cargo. This process enables the Certificate of Export issuance by the Kenya Revenue Authority.

Following recent flooding, operations in Kinshasa have returned to normal. However, due to prior road damage, we are monitoring the situation closely in case of further heavy rainfall.

+++ April 7, 2025 +++ 

Severe flooding in Kinshasa has disrupted key transport routes, including access to the port of Matadi and N'djili Airport, causing delays in operations. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
