China

  • Ningbo:
    Waiting time: 24–36 hours; varies by terminal due to vessel bunching.
  • Qingdao:
    Waiting time: 24–72 hours due to vessel bunching and congestion.
  • Singapore:
    Waiting time: 12–36 hours. hours due to vessel bunching and congestion.
  • Busan:
    Average waiting time: 18 hours across terminals. PNIT Terminal face average 72-hour delays due to mega vessel bunching.
  • Japan (Yokohama):
    Waiting time: 12–24 hours due to vessel bunchingSunday weekly strike has called off due to JHTA agreement. Terminal is recovering form congestion

Dangerous Goods restriction on our VIS Service to Ho Chi Minh, VN

From July 1, 2024, Dangerous Goods (DG) will be prohibited for discharge at Cat Lai (Chi Minh Terminal Matchcode CATLAI 2). If you're shipping with our VIS service, please note that DG cargo with port of discharge in Ho Chi Minh (CATLAI 2) will therefore not be processed. Alternatively you can choose from the following routes via Vung Tau, VN and arrange barging at other inland container depots:

  • SPITC port (MC SPITC 001): 9 km far from Cat Lai.
  • Tan Cang Hiep Phuoc (MC TCHP 001): 22 km far from Cat Lai.
  • Phuoc Long 3 (MC ICDPHU 002): 13 km far from Cat Lai.
  • Binh Duong port (MC BINHDU 006): 22 km far from Cat Lai.
  • Dong Nai port (MC ICDDON 001): 22 km far from Cat Lai.

QQ Spot Bookings in Mainland China and Hong Kong and Taiwan:
The cancellation fee rule for bookings following Quick Quotes Spot Terms & Conditions.

Quick Quotes (QQ) and Other Bookings (non QQ/QQS) in Mainland China and Hong Kong and Quick Quotes (QQ) in Taiwan:

  • Booking cancellation fee is applicable to bookings cancelled, reduced, or no-show within 7 calendar days prior to the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first intended vessel destined to all trades excluding Intra Asia (Short Sea).
  • For the Intra Asia (Short Sea) trade, the booking cancellation fee will not be applicable.

  • For Intra Asia trade (Short Sea), booking cancellation fee will not be applicable.

Booking window for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan

If you're shipping from Mainland China and Hong Kong, now you will be able to book during or post Chinese New Year sailings on vessels. This booking window expansion will be valid immediately until further notice.

Booking Window Periods: 6 Jan 2025 onwards: 56 days rule (8 weeks)

  • For faster BL release at destination, we encourage customers to switch from OBL to SWB however; we do understand that this is not always possible. If any assistance is needed please reach out to your local customer service documentation team.
  • Counter services are open for majority of the offices. For Counter Service Operating Hours, please contact your local office.
  • Many of our staff are back in office, and our contact center is operating normally.
  • We recommend that you use our e-tools (Web-Booking and EASI) for submitting bookings and Shipper Instructions.
