China

  • Qingdao: Waiting time 36 to 48 hours due to strong winds and vessel bunching
  • Shanghai: Waiting time 72 to 96 hours due to vessel bunching. Berth waiting time varies depending on the terminal.
  • Ningbo:  Waiting time 0 to 24 hours due to vessel bunching. Berth waiting time varies depending on the terminal.

Singapore:

  • Waiting time 70 to 110 hours due to vessel bunching and congestion. Yard utilization at 80% due to discharge volume.

Malaysia:

  • Port Klang (Westport): Waiting time 36 to 45 hours due to terminal congestion and vessel bunching. 

Oceania

  • Brisbane (DP World): Waiting time 6 to 136 hours due to crane outage and expected strong winds
  • Sydney (Patrick): waiting time 36 to 48 hours due to bad weather
  • Fremantle (Patrick): waiting time 12 to 36 hours due to vessel bunching

Booking Cancellation Fee in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan

QQ Spot Bookings:

  • Booking cancellation fee will be applicable to every container cancelled within a confirmed shipment.

Non-QQ Spot Bookings in Mainland China and Hong Kong:

  • Booking cancellation fee is applicable to booking cancelled within 7 calendar days prior to the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first intended vessel destined to ALL TRADES due to customers related issues.

Quick Quote Bookings in Taiwan:

  • Booking cancellation fee is applicable to booking cancelled within 7 calendar days prior to the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first intended vessel destined to ALL TRADES due to customers related issues.

Non-Quick Quotes/Non-QQ Spot Bookings in Taiwan:

  • Booking cancellation fee is applicable to booking cancellation fee will be applicable to every container cancelled or no-show within a confirmed shipment, after CY cut off 17:30

If you are shipping from Pearl River Delta (PRD) or Yangtze River Delta (YRD), please take note below additional information:

  • Calculation rule is based on Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) of the first intended vessel shown on booking confirmation.
  • Booking Cancellation Fee (FIO) is not applicable if there is a change of feeder vessel schedule, but mainline vessel schedule remains unchanged. (Excluding QQ Spot booking)

Booking window update for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan

The booking window is based on the timeline stated in the following tables for main services and feeder services. The booking window calculation is according to the date when the booking was received until the vessel's departure from the port. Bookings received from the effective date should follow the booking window logic. Bookings outside the booking window will regretfully be cancelled.
