Shipping between North Europe & Canada? AT1 Service – No sailing in Weeks 23–24

If you're planning shipments between North Europe and Canada, please note an important update that may affect your cargo planning.

Due to a mechanical failure at the Port of Montreal, our vessel MV Livorno Express requires emergency drydock repairs. As no replacement vessel is available at short notice, voyage 74W23 (originally scheduled to depart Antwerp on June 7 and Liverpool on June 16) will unfortunately be cancelled.

All cargo originally booked on this sailing will be reallocated to alternative transatlantic services. Our teams are working to minimise any potential delays and ensure the best possible routing for your shipments.

Should you require additional information or assistance, don't hesitate to contact our teams at your preferred location who will guide you based on your individual situation.

Ukraine/Russia updates:

  • Please visit general updates here, and the FAQ in this link.

We would like to inform you about a temporary suspension of rail access to the western part of the Port of Hamburg due to infrastructure work related to the "A26 West" construction project.

From Friday, July 4, 2025 at 07:00 hrs until Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 07:00 hrs, the rail connection between inland terminals and container terminals CTA, CTB, and CTH will be completely closed.

This will affect rail-based container deliveries and pickups at these terminals. Disruptions may already begin the day before and continue shortly after the closure. In import, further delays may occur due to resulting backlogs.

Due to limited capacity, we recommend considering alternative routings via other ports, such as Wilhelmshaven (services: AL1, AL4, NE1) or Bremerhaven (services: ECX, NE4).

Please note that during this period, Carrier’s Haulage bookings involving rail transport to or from Hamburg may be declined, as alternative solutions will be very limited.
