Tunisia – Reduction of Terminal Congestion Surcharge

Please be informed that the operations in Rades (Tunisia), even though still affected by some delays, have recently improved with a consequent enhancement of the service.

In light of this development, we are glad to advise that the Terminal Congestion Surcharge (CGD) on all import shipments to Rades could now be reduced, with new lower amounts being as follows:

  • USD 90 per TEU for all trades except North Europe/Med and Intra-Med, effective as from November 2, 2018.
  • EURO 80 per TEU for North Europe/Med and Intra-Med trades, effective as from November 15, 2018.

As soon as further improvement of the current operational situation in Rades occurs, we will consider as Hapag-Lloyd waiving or mitigating the Terminal Congestion Surcharge to lower levels again.
