Atlantic Trade - Italy to USA - Peak Season Surcharge

Strong market demand from Italy to United States of America is leading to higher than usual operational costs on Mediterranean Pacific Service and Atlantic Loops 6 and 7 (MPS, AL6 and AL7).

Consequently please be informed that effective for sailings as of March 15, 2019 and valid until further notice, Hapag-Lloyd will implement a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from Italy to USA as follows:

• USD 150 per Container

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, THCs remain unchanged and can be found here.

Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
