Spirit of Hamburg - Voyage 15S - Update

Further to our earlier advice, the Vessel Operator‘s request to re-berth Spirit of Hamburg tonight was denied by local authorities, with no confirmed advice that permission will be granted for Friday. Due to the uncertainty of the situation and the consequent delay this will place on Maersk Inverness, the Vessel Operator has called off the initial contingeny plan. The revised plan is as follows:

1. Cargo originally booked to Maersk Inverness 016S, will remain with the Maersk Inverness.
2. There will be no transfer of bookings ex Cartenga from Maersk Inverness V 16s to Spirit of Shanghai. All bookings will remain with Maersk Inverness
3. In order to mitigate the delay, all Spirit of Hamburg cargo sitting in Balboa will be loaded in Maersk Inverness v. 016S.

Apologies for this inconvenience. We will keep you updated on any news regarding the release of Spirit of Hamburg and when she will be resuming her voyage to New Zealand which we all hope will be soon.
